The companies Aeromot S/A, FBR Aviation and Hensoldt Sensors Gmbh celebrate, during the LAAD Expo, a cooperation agreement for the supply and integration of airborne systems focused on the DA-62MPP platform.
The partnership combines the expertise of Aeromot and FBR in the development and integration of complex systems, including the manufacture of Diamond aircraft under license in Brazil. The agreement also provides for business development for Hensoldt’s high technology products in the areas of electro-optical sensors, energy, radar and datalink transmission systems.
Aeromot – Aeronaves e Motores S/A – is a Brazilian aeronautical technology company founded in 1967. The company is a Strategic Defense Company and Brazilian leader in the supply of private / multimission aircraft and mission equipment. Since 2016, it is exclusive distributor and authorized service center for Diamond Aircraft in Brazil, with facilities in Porto Alegre and Belo Horizonte.
Aeromot recently unveiled the AeroCITI project, to be located in the city of Guaíba/RS in the southern region of Brazil. The enterprise will be an aeronautical industrial complex, including an executive airport, intended for the development of defense and air mobility solutions, manufactory of aircraft, aircraft parts and components, maintenance facilities, flight training solutions and a research and development (R&D) center. The AeroCITI will host the local assembly plant of the Diamond Aircraft DA62 model built under license.
